TRAKO trade fair - Gdansk, September 24-27, 2019

VÚKV a.s. takes part in the international railway trade fair Trako in Gdansk (Poland) in terms of the common exposition of Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech Republic and Association of Czech Railway Industry (ACRI) this year. You will find us at stand A39, hall A.

November 2011: Two employees of VÚKV a. s. were awarded by Emil Škoda Award for the solution of the coupling between the bogies of electric locomotive and for the solution of the motor bogie of light electric multiple units.

October 2011: VÚKV a. s. participated in the collective ACRI exposition at the Trako 2011 trade fair in Polish city of Gdańsk. Some significant meetings with representatives of Polish rail vehicle manufacturers were carried out.

The homologation process of the measuring wheelset System VÚKV .....

August 2011: The homologation process of the measuring wheelset System VÚKV 3 in Germany was successfully crowned. The wheelset was tested on the unique calibration stand of VÚKV a. s. and consequently verified by functional tests – e. g. on the bogie of VÚKV a. s. measuring car till 200 km/h, during the tests of Paris Metro vehicles, on the freight wagon bogie TVP 2007 or during the approval process of Škoda 109E locomotive. The VÚKV a. s. measuring system worked with high reliability almost without any failures. VÚKV a. s. supported various rail vehicle producers during the approval process of their products – example Lithuania: the process was successfully crowned not only in case of double deck EMU’s class 575 (Škoda Vagónka) but also in case of EM 140 measuring vehicle (Plasser & Theurer). The approval process for significant German customer starts actually. The type tests of various freight wagons were carried out for both Czech and foreign customers (e. g. LEGIOS Louny, Tatravagónka Poprad, Ɖuro Ɖaković, Feldbinder Spezialfahrzeuge) in 2011. The integral part of the type tests are also brake tests – stationary and on the run (uncoupling tests) according to UIC 544-1, TSI freight wagons and V-BKS (K) guideline for various load conditions – empty, partially loaded (changeover weight) and full loaded. Part of these tests will be carried out on the IK testing track at Źmigród, Poland. Series of aerodynamic measurements as prescribed by TSI High Speed was carried out by VÚKV a. s. in terms of approval process of Škoda 109E locomotive. The measuring of aerodynamic load on passengers on a platform and on rail workers at the lineside was carried out by a Czech subject for the first time. The measuring of maximum pressure variations in tunnel during the test train passage was carried out in Austria in collaboration with Aeronautic Research and Testing Institute.



The Test centre for railway rolling stock and containers VÚKV a. s., Prague,....

The Test centre for railway rolling stock and containers VÚKV a. s., Prague, carried out the tests of electric locomotive Škoda 109E on the reference tracks of ÖBB Infastruktur in Austria. Lateral and vertical forces (Y and Q) on two wheelsets of one bogie, accelerations in the locomotive body and on the bogie frame, speed and cant deficiency were measured. The tests were carried out between the Linz – St. Valentin, Innsbruck – Langen am Arlberg, St. Veit an der Glan – Neumarkt in der Steiermark, Unzmarkt – Knittelfeld – St. Michael and Semmering – Gloggnitz stations. The wheel force measuring was carried out by means of measuring wheel sets System VÚKV 3 developed by VÚKV a. s. The system worked reliably without any serious failure. The mentioned tests are necessary for service approval of the locomotive in Austria.

2010: The facelifting study for GP 200 bogies was elaborated. Not only the necessary arrangements to enable the real service possibility up to 200 km/h but also additional face lifting potentialities to satisfy the recent legislation and service requirements are described. The implementation of such facelifting steps is a presumption for using of GP 200 bogies in passenger service also in early 21st century.

2010: The static strength tests of several rough vehicle structures for locomotives and light passenger multiple units built by several European producers were carried out by VÚKV a. s. Besides, the type tests of freight wagons were carried out for both traditional and new customers (RailTur, Turkey or Ɖuro Ɖaković, Croatia).
