Brake

Accreditation

The brake tests are carried out according to:

  • UIC 540, UIC 541-04, UIC 541-05, UIC 543, UIC 544-1, UIC 546, UIC 547                                    
  • prEN 15806, prEN 15734-2
  • V-BKS (Baurichtlinie V-BKS)
  • EBO (Prüfmodul – Bremstechnische Prüfung von Güterwagen, Reisezugwagen und Triebfahrzeugen im Rahmen der Abnahme nach § 32 EBO)
  • TSI

In terms of brake tests can be carried out:

  • stand-by brake tests
  • measuring and recording of all brake parameters according to UIC 540
  • hand brake and parking brake tests including determination of maximum gradient on which the full loaded wagon can be kept
  • running brake tests on-track (on the test circle):
    • run-out tests under all loading conditions of the given vehicle type,
    • energetic limits tests (Gotthardtest)

The VÚKV a.s. testing laboratory carries out the measurements with the possibility of on-line monitoring of the following parameters during the run-out tests:

 

 

  • brake cylinder pression
  • pressions in the main and feeding pipes
  • distributor pressures (Cv) and auxiliary air reservoirs pressures
  • pressures of the load sensors (T-pressures)
  • speed of the vehicle under test                                                                                                       
  • covered brake way
  • longitudinal acceleration/deceleration of the vehicle
  • pressure forces of the brake shoes
  • temperatures of wheel running surfaces or brake discs friction surfaces
  • brake cylinder strokes
