Interior Equipment

VÚKV a. s. deals with development of interior equipment for a wide range of railway vehicles, including standard tramways, passenger, express, motor, sleeping and dining cars as well as special-purpose vehicles such as locomotives, saloon cars, conference carriages, social cars, measuring coaches and other vehicle types.

Depending on the vehicle type the interior equipment may include the following construction units:

• Interior cladding, partitions and screens;
• Floors;
• Doors, windows;
• Seats, shelves and handle bars;
• Beds and couchettes;
• Interior lighting;
• Information and communication system;
• Driver’s cab equipment;
• Parts of heating, ventilation and air conditioning;
• Sanitary equipment including water pipelines;
• Electrical installations.

VÚKV a. s. offers the solution from feasibility study to detailed design. A part of the offered activities are also design proposals which are elaborated by VÚKV a. s. in cooperation with external subjects. The serviceability and ergonomics of applied solution are accented during the development. All available technical means (e.g. CAD 3D systems) are used to attain it. The modern materials are used to a great extent from this reason.
