VÚKV a.s. focuses mainly on works that are closely related to rail transport. This is also the centre of expertise and experience of its employees. Examples include ropeway car projects, special-purpose vehicles, work machines and equipment, vehicles for transporting special or oversized loads, various special superstructures, etc. Other projects also include, for example, various operational calculations, resistance calculations, studies and other activities.

VÚKV a.s. is also active in this field of technology, where it is involved in many projects as a consultant, research and development entity or assessor. In recent times, this has included, for example, a project for a special ship hoist or a project for a special vehicle for transporting spent nuclear fuel.
