In the field of environmental technology for rolling stock, the testing laboratory carries out the following tests:

Heating, ventilation and air condition tests

• Pre-heating test,
• Pre-cooling test,
• HVAC control test,
• Airflow test.

Tests of thermal insulation properties

• Determination of thermal transmission coefficient “k”.

The tests shall be carried out in accordance with European standards, UIC leaflets or according to special customer requirements.

The aim of these tests is to verify the specified comfort parameters for the passenger compartments and for the driver's cabs.
